She states that it will definitely have the “Betsey aesthetic” but it will be toned down aesthetic so that they will have a modern feel to it. Lulu Betsey also commented that the collection will be a line for women who want to be hip, sexy and cool.

Her adoring mother Betsey Johnson uttered these sweet words to her daughter “My archives, my knowledge, everything - I hope at the end of the day, I give it all to you and hope that you’re happy.” It’s quite refreshing to see this sort of relationship in the public domain.
